would you mind to reduce the amount of variants? (e. g. pthread & bzip look like useful additions to the default case) Also please supply unidiffs - they are a lot easier to read, especially since we are use to. Thanks!

I changed Portfile to use "--enable-pthread" by default. I think bzip2 support is still additional feature,however useful it is. Thank you for your comment and advice.
